D&D/Pathfinder Spring 2012 campaign

So I'm pretty much dead set on running a campaign next semester. It will be based in the same world as my previous campaign, though fifty years earlier in the timeline. Here's a quick rundown of the plans so far:

System: Either D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder, haven't decided yet.
Player slots: 6 maximum
Character starting level: 7
Meeting Time: Determined by participants, likely after 5pm during the week
Alignment Restrictions: Right now, no chaotic + evil characters.

Plot super-synopsis: The world has been in a warmer-than-cold war state, with factions picking off unattended areas from each other and sabotaging supply lines. It feels like a continent-wide conflict is on the horizon...

Post here if you would be interested in participating. We'll get characters rolled up before winter break, and the first session will be after we return.

I'll join! Not sure what class or race. Something bland and boring probably. But way overpowered in my usual fashion. Since I min/MAX like a pro. Anyways... Point buy or Random generation for stats?

I'll be doing 4d6 drop lowest. Rolls will be made during a group character creation session.

The campaign will be Tuesday nights 6-10. We will start the second week of spring semester. I'm beginning to work on the world map tonight.
