Horror Story 1: Road Trip - STORY COMPLETED

It is late June. Your typical or some may say atypical Iowan family has just finished packing their vehicle for their summer vacation. A long awaited trip out to Yellowstone Park to camp for the week. Closing up the trunk you all huddle in and get ready for the long trip out. You stop for gas before leaving your hometown of Brighton, Iowa, and wave goodbye as your vehicle starts down the long road. After several hours, the sun slowly setting in front of you, you reach the boarder into Nebraska...

This is the intro to my first Horror Story, "Road Trip." The story is set for a group of 4-6 people. It should take around 1 to 2 hours depending on the players. It should just be one sit down to finish the story. I can do continuation of future stories upon request. This first story I would like to keep this first story to one sit down session.

As night settles Philip begins to feel the effects of tiredness wash over him. He tries his best to stay awake, but slowly notices his eyes close more and more often. Not noticing a city anywhere close you decide to pull off to the side of the road and nap for an hour and then drive again. As you set your phone alarm you feel your arm begin to grow heavier with each press of the button. You set the phone down and rest your head on the window and fall asleep.

With tear stained shirt, Millie awakes the next day in the Lincoln, Nebraska hospital. With her Granny, and father beside her. The police have quarenteed the area of Springfield, Nebraska, and blammed the horrors there on a new virus speading out. The people all within the 20 miles from the town became bloated to the point that they eventually exploded, And several children were found in corn fields dead due to starvation. It may have been a great calamity for them, but at least You Survived!
